OUTREACH

The Players Theatre Company strives to cultivate creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and empathy through comprehensive theatre education. We inspire and empower students of all ages by providing skills, knowledge and opportunities for artistic expression and the development of lifelong appreciation for the performing arts. With training, inclusive practices and a supportive community, we nurture the next generation of performers, creators, and audiences to contribute meaningfully to the cultural and social fabric of our world.

We are extremely excited about the development of a Conservatory for Theatre Arts Education for all ages of learners that will include a theatre camp for children with special needs. More information will come soon.

EDUCATION

C. KIDZ Theatre School is the junior division of the Players Theatre Company. C. Kidz Theatre School classes are held at the Owen Theatre. Youth ages of 6 through 18 participate in acting classes and gain musical theatre experiences. Each session is an exciting opportunity to sing, act and dance. Students work on character development, scene study, script analysis, improvisation and are introduced to the technical aspects of theatre. The group performs at least twice each semester.

A Multi Arts Camp is held in the summer in conjunction with the City of Conroe to give students a chance to delve into each of the fine arts.

The Acting Out troupe brings students out to perform for senior groups, daycares, schools, festivals, and local businesses.

Teen Camp Intensives are held in the summer.
