Synopsis: Irving Berlin’s White Christmas is a classic Broadway-style musical based on the perennial favorite 1954 film of the same name. Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters on route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander. With the inn facing a snowless Christmas and the general facing losing the inn to creditors, the four come up with a scheme to save the inn and the general’s pride.
The cast consists of eleven named characters and a very active ensemble of singers and dancers. Some speaking roles will be cast from the ensemble. The only minor role is that of Susan Waverly, who is approximately 9-13 years of age.
