A timeless work, the rock opera is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. Loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Superstar follows the last week of Jesus Christ’s life. The story, told entirely through song, explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his followers and the Roman Empire.

This nationally recognized program gives young artists with disabilities a chance to shine onstage, each paired with a peer mentor who supports them through every rehearsal and performance. Together they build confidence, grow friendships, and create a fully staged musical that celebrates inclusion and joy. Our first production, Annie Jr., takes the stage May 22 to 24, 2026 at The Owen Theatre. Registration for Artists, Mentors, and volunteers is open now, and participation is free.
