Miracle on 34th Street: The Musical

Auditions for the Players Theatre Company’s holiday production of Miracle on 34th Street: The Musical are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, September 21 and 22, at 7:00 p.m. at the Owen Theatre, located at 225 Metcalf Street in Conroe, Texas. All roles are available. If needed, callbacks will be held Wednesday, September 23rd at 7:00pm.
Please prepare one musical theatre song, no more than 32 measures in length, that best showcases your vocal and acting abilities. Your audition piece should be memorized. An accompanist and Bluetooth capability will be available; however, bringing your own Bluetooth speaker is recommended. Please be prepared to sing with either an accompanist or an accompaniment track. No a cappella auditions, please.
Those interested only in a chorus role will participate in a brief group audition using one of the chorus songs from Miracle on 34th Street. Those seeking a principal role must sing a prepared solo musical selection.
Following the singing auditions, there will also be a brief dance/movement audition and cold readings from the script.
The Players Theatre Company is looking to cast approximately 20 to 30 performers of all ages for this holiday classic. If cast, attendance at all Tech Week rehearsals, November 29 through December 3, is mandatory, as well as attendance at all performances.
Performance dates are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from December 4 through December 20. Saturdays will include both matinee and evening performances.
